Hovie Creates New Menus for Ray's Cafe
SEATTLE, WA - 08/19/08 - Seattle graphic design firm, Design Hovie Studios, Inc., has created new menus for Ray's Cafe. Ray's, opened in 1945 as a dockside cafe, has evolved over the years into one of Seattle's must-visit restaurants with a majestic view and an international reputation for great seafood and wine.
Design Hovie Studios created three colors of abstract, aquadic themed backgrounds to use for the restaurant menu, the dessert menu, and the bar menu. The vibrant imagery was then placed on an espresso brown cover that works as a perfect frame. The Ray's Cafe logo, also designed by Design Hovie Studios, completes the new look and feel.
The entire project was a four week process developed in Seattle under the Creative Direction of Hovie Hawk.
