Hovie Work Selected by European Publication Design and Design

Design Hovie Studios' Arcade Magazine cover design has been selected by the European Publication, "Design and Design" for inclusion in their 2008 Book of the Year.

Hovie and Seattle Pacific University
July 2008
Design Hovie Studios' founder and creative director Hovie Hawk has agreed to serve as an adjunct instructor in the design department at Seattle Pacific University. Hovie will be teaching Type I at SPU in the Fall, in addition to his duties here in the Studios.

Hovie Tops Seattle Google Rankings

Design Hovie Studios' site has received recognition from Seattle based Creative Techs for maintaining higher rankings in Google searches than much larger Seattle firms like Hornall Anderson, HL2, Fitch, and Methodologie. Glad to know all of the hard work and research is paying off.

Creative Director, Hovie Hawk, was a featured speaker and judge for The Society of Graphic Designers of Canada - Vancouver Island Chapter, Rock Awards competition, April 18 and 19 in Victoria British Columbia.

Metro Parks Tacoma

Design Hovie Studios has been selected to the 2008 Metro Parks Tacoma creative services roster. The selection will allow the Studio to work on various projects for Metro Parks Tacoma, the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, and the Northwest Trek Wildlife Park.
