Hovie Designs Holiday Campaign for Seattle's Ballard District

SEATTLE, WA - 12/11/09 - Design Hovie Studios, Inc., working with the In Ballard Merchants Association, has designed the new Holiday campaing for Seattle's Ballard district, Holidays in Ballard. The In Ballard Merchants Association is an official 501(c)(6) non-profit Mutual Business Organization with the State of Washington. The Mission of the In Ballard Merchants Association is to ensure a flourishing Ballard economy through collective event planning and advertising among Ballard businesses.

The Holidays campaign looks to bring shoppers to the area during the Holiday season. Design Hovie Studios designed the friendly and memorable holidays logo with smiley face and winter cap and paired it with rich, bold colors. Each color represents one of the four business types: Eat, Drink, Shop, Play. In addition to the identity, Design Hovie Studios created a colorful walking map, post card, posters, print ads, web site and signage to promote the event.

The entire project was completed in one month by Creative Director Hovie Hawk and designers Kari Rowell and Maxwell Churchill.
