Berkeley California's Peachpit Press was looking for a completely new look for their Director 8 Demystified cover. Clean, yet captivating, with easy to read title and features. A main requirement was increased shelf visability, specifically on the spine.

Design Hovie Studios achieved this by using a strong central image of a designer being engulfed by the Director code, against a bold orange with blue, green, and black highlites that called out the features. The spine is a bright yellow green with large orange type that jumps off the shelf.
