Hovie Designs the Seattle Public Utilities' 2005 Drinking Water Annual Report

SEATTLE, WA - 07/06/06 - Seattle water customers are reading about the state of the city's drinking water supply in an annual report put together by Seattle's Design Hovie Studios.

The Seattle Public Utilities' 2005 Drinking Water Report has been mailed to customers for their careful review, however this year they are seeing more than just numbers and statistics. Design Hovie Studios took over design duties and followed through with its goal to create a vital, visually engaging 8-page brochure. Scenic photos take readers to the actual watersheds that serve Seattle. Historic photographs introduce Seattle's founding fathers and reveal their original vision for water resource management. This compelling design involves the reader in a way that straight statistics cannot.

Designed and produced in Seattle, the project was completed over 4 months under the direction of Design Hovie Studios' Creative Director Hovie Hawk, writer Lauri Hennessey, and photographer Hawk Jones.
