The Boeing Company needed an easy way to get their airplane photos into the media's hands so that they could be used in various newspaper and magazine articles. Although low resolution images could be found on-line, getting images with a resolution needed for print was at times too time consuming.
The solution was to create a multifaceted image catalog system. The printed catalog made it easy to view each of the images. The accompanying CD-ROM could be viewed and searched just as the web site, but the download of the high resolution images was instantaneous. Finally, a mouse pad was included in the package so that the Boeing Company was always in the users mind's eye.
