Hovie Creates Promotional Pieces for Ballard's Art'fisk Festival
SEATTLE, WA - 08/15/05 - Seattle graphic design firm, Design Hovie Studios, Inc., has created the promotional pieces for Arts Ballard's 2005 Art'fisk Festival to be held on Saturday, September 10.
The promotional pieces include posters, post cards, and correspondence cards. The posters feature the abstract dolls of local artist Diane Kurzyna, in burnt orange, set against a sky blue background. Meant to focus on the retro/modern aspects of the current Ballard arts community, the colors and layout give the viewer a feel for the type of energy and style to expect at the one-day event. Post cards and correspondence cards follow along the same theme as the poster, adjusted slightly to fit size and space requirements.
A celebration of various arts and artists in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, Art'fisk is a yearly festival put on by Arts Ballard.
