VLM Consulting offers strategic financial management and analysis services to companies in the greater Seattle area. They help companies reach their strategic objectives through effective use of financial information, procedures, and team. The company needed an identity that showed stability while at the same time flexibility.

Design Hovie Studios created a dynamic mark made up of overlapping "V", "L", and "M" forms. The mark was given additional meaning with use of color to show movement around a central focus. Clean, modern type was used in the letterforms to complement the mark and give the entire identity a strong cohesive look.
