Caribbean Apparel
Caribbean Apparel is an Edgar Martinez company specializing in fine casual clothing. They came to Design Hovie Studios wanting a logo that reflected their commitment to quality and a relaxed lifestyle.
Design Hovie Studios created a abstract palm leaf mark and typeface that spoke to the tropical quality of their name and garments. Although it was important to have Edgar Martinez' name in the logo (Mr. Martinez was a highly successful professional baseball player for the Seattle Mariners), it was designed to compliment rather than be the focus of the logomark.
